Gold Zone Roofing is run by Rudy Ayres, who set the company up in 2022 after 4-plus years on the tools. Rudy and his team cover Nottinghamshire, from Newark to Worksop. In that time the team has completed more than 1,500 roofs.
The way we work is simple. We survey the roof properly, photograph what we find, and give you a written price. If a repair will do, we say so.
Every new roof comes with a 10-year guarantee, every other job is guaranteed in writing, and we are fully insured.

It depends on the size of the roof, the covering and what we find underneath. We give a written, fixed price after a free survey, so you know the full cost before anything is ordered.
How long does a re-roof take?
Most semi-detached houses take around a week once the scaffolding is up, depending on the weather. We give you a timescale with the quote.
Do I need to be at home while you work?
No. We need access to the outside of the house and, ideally, the loft at the start. Most customers carry on as normal.
What guarantee comes with the work?
Every new roof comes with a 10-year guarantee, and every other job is guaranteed too. The guarantee is set out in writing with your quote.
Are you insured?
Yes, we are fully insured, and we are happy to show you the certificate at the survey.
Do I need planning permission for roof work?
Usually not for like-for-like repairs or replacement. Listed buildings, conservation areas and changes to the roof shape can need consent, and we will tell you at the survey if that applies.
